In the last months, we've achieved incredible early customer pull across diverse customer profiles. Now we need an exceptional product generalist to join our team, helping us translate this momentum into a world-class product that solves our customers' most complex problems.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Forgent AI on the ground floor as our first product hire. We are looking for a product manager who can own complex product and commercial problems end-to-end. You'll operate at the intersection of our customers, technology, and business, partnering directly with the founders and our engineering team. As an early member of the product team, you’ll help make key decisions on the direction we go from here. You'll be trusted with real ownership from day one, with the opportunity to shape both your role and the company's product culture as we scale.

What You’ll Do

As a core member of our product team, you will:

• End-to-End Ownership: Own the lifecycle of core product initiatives from inception and discovery through to launch and iteration, partnering directly with engineering to ship world class AI products.
• Tackle Unsolved AI Problems: Dive deep on complex, unsolved AI and product challenges—figuring out how to build and scale agents for complex, high-stakes enterprise workflows.
• Engage Strategic Customers: Engage directly with all levels of our customers’ businesses to discover and assess their requirements, gather feedback, and become a trusted partner.
• Shape the Product Roadmap: Work side-by-side with the customers, founders, and the engineering team to scope new features, define product direction, and prioritize the roadmap.
• Make Agents Useful: Learn and apply how to actually make cutting-edge AI useful and valuable for complex, real-world knowledge work. This requires a high degree of technical know-how in applied AI topics, such as prompt and context engineering or AI evaluations.
